Meet y(our) colleagues.  The best thing about the MEAM department is our students.  All graduate students in the department are members of the Mechanical Engineering Graduate Association (MEGA).  MEGA invites you to drop into the sessions below to allow them the opportunity to tell you about the student community.

There are many characteristics that make us unique. At Penn, you will find students representing all walks of life. Come join us for a discussion about what diversity means to you and where you can find it on campus (even virtually!!).  Attendees will learn more about the organizations at Penn including MEGA, SWE, NSBE, the Doctoral Diversity Advisory Board, and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. You will also get to hear from current MEAM students on their experiences on campus and in Philadelphia.

This event is open to everyone! Conversations surrounding diversity must not be singular but embraced by all.  See you there!
